近年来，可穿戴设备发展迅猛，可穿戴设备与医疗健康结合成为新风口，本篇将分享今年德国红点奖医疗健康类涉及的部分可穿戴设备。

The supportive bandage alleviates pain in the sole of the foot by supporting the arch, relieving muscles and tendons and having a cushioning effect in the heel area. The support consists of three components: a fibreglass shank to support the arch of the foot, a tight knitted sock that can be individually adjusted for a non-slip fit, and a silicone pad on the heel bone. Unlike tape, the bandage is removable and does not require a daily visit to the doctor. With its stylish look, the Alleviate Loft bandage is a great-looking aid that supports an active lifestyle without pain.
2．Neck Support-LUDWIG KATRIN

Inside the LUDWIG KATRIN neck support is an air cushion that can be inflated by applying pressure from the outside. On the left, a one-touch outlet function serves to release air. An acoustic signal sounds during a change from one level to another. To achieve the desired fixation effect, the support plate behind the neck helps to ease the upward and downward adjustment. The LUDWIG KATRIN neck support is a fascinating product with its innovative inflation mechanism and its discreet design suitable for everyday use.

The MegaRing 5 is a portable pulse oximeter for continuous health monitoring. Its shape intuitively dictates how the ring should be worn on the finger. The inside is made of stainless steel, which is very light, thin and biocompatible, and the outside is finished in a very fine coating that is resistant to corrosion and wear. The minimalist design in black has a modern look without seeming obtrusive and suits many different styles. The bi-elastic structure of the sensor ensures that the ring is comfortable to wear and at the same time does not slip, so that reliable transmission of the readings is guaranteed.
4.Wearable Digital Stethoscope-QOCA SPR1

The QOCA SPR1 is a lightweight, rechargeable digital stethoscope that is worn on the body and supports wireless data transmission. Thanks to the patented pinwheel-shaped patch, it adheres with particular reliability and enables continuous measurement over several days. Through a combination of automated timed monitoring and AI analysis, the condition of the patient’s lungs can be assessed in real time and medical staff is informed should there be a need to suction mucus. Designed to be water- and dustproof, the stethoscope does not restrict the wearer in their daily activities.
5.Brainwave Measurement and LED Therapeutic Device-iSyncWave

Using AI analysis and brain mapping technology, the iSyncWave helmet can detect electrical activity in the brain to support the diagnosis of early signs of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders. In addition, the device is used for supportive stimulation therapy with light-emitting diodes. The firm yet elastic structure makes it easy to put on and take off, flexibly adapting to the user’s head size.
6.Smart Payment Device for the Visually Impaired-Shimmer

To date, visually impaired individuals have had to rely on screen-reading software for mobile payments. This is cumbersome and problematic in terms of privacy. Shimmer, a compact device that supports mobile payments, provides a remedy. The utensil consists of a colour display, a scanning camera, Braille buttons and a headset. This allows two scenarios to be handled: showing the payment code via the display for payment; scanning the QR code via the camera for receipt of the money. The functions are realised via a mobile phone connection. Thanks to its high-quality and compact design, Shimmer can conveniently be worn around the neck like a piece of fine jewellery.

This practical posture correction aid is made of a high-strength polyester mesh fabric, with the shoulder area moulded to the contour of the upper back through an integrated curvature.

The ADM Modular Brace System was developed under the consideration that the design of clubfoot braces has not changed significantly for many decades. The result is a comfortable, lightweight and adaptable orthosis that is suitable for both unilateral and bilateral clubfoot treatment. In order to achieve better acceptance among patients and their relatives, the appearance of the foot brace is based on modern shoe designs. The foot is secured without restricting its mobility. The foot brace is very easily connected to the single- or double-leg bar via a click lock.

All models are optimally adapted to the anatomy and characterised by a smooth, compact design. The settings and functions of the hearing aids can be controlled via a user-friendly smartphone app.
10. Product Family for Casting and Splinting-UCAST

UCAST is a support bandage for fracture treatment consisting of a thermoplastic splint and a breathable padded bandage. The product is pre-assembled and fits most patients, thus eliminating the need for measuring and cutting as with a plaster cast. All materials are non-toxic and hypoallergenic, eliminating the need for protective gear and reducing the risk of skin irritation. The splint is made of Woodcast, a biodegradable material that becomes mouldable under the influence of heat and adapts to anatomical conditions. If necessary, the splint can be reheated and reshaped.

The clearly visible orange silicone components are used to grip and pull out the earplugs.

This air purifier mask has a built-in sensor which measures the wearer’s respiratory cycle and volume and helps him or her breathe. The manufacturer-specific design features have been rigorously improved in this second-generation model. In contrast to its predecessor, the powered fans are integrated into the mask and are no longer visible from outside, which gives it a smooth, enclosed shape. Moreover, the weight of the mask has been reduced. Based on a comprehensive analysis of facial shape, the ergonomic design minimises air leakage at the nose and the chin without influencing the wearer’s comfort.
13. Soft Robotic Exosuit-Muscle Armor

Muscle Armor was developed to assist with walking training for various motor dysfunctions of the lower limbs, for instance following a stroke or spinal cord injury. In contrast to conventional robotic devices worn on the body, this smart system aids the body not by alleviating weight but by anticipating the patient’s movements and providing direct assistance for the target muscles. This means that walking training can be adjusted to match the patient’s movement intentions in the best possible way. The leg holders are made of ultra-light carbon fibre, so that the overall construction weighs as little as 3 kg. The soft padded straps are comfortable to wear and can be quickly and easily adjusted to fit the body size.

The unusual wave pattern on the eyepieces gives the magnifying glasses exclusivity and personality. The matt black brings out the lines and shapes particularly succinctly.
